Welcome! Moostique Gastromarket is part of Sweet Moos, a family-owned business located in Twizel.

So who are we? Sweet Moos was created out of a desire to offer a unique family experience in Twizel. People always seem to ask me, “you must love ice cream?” To that I reply, “I love the people!" And what better way to connect with people than through ice cream – hence Sweet Moos was born!

So what about Moostique? Through Sweet Moos’ early years we carried a few Twizel-made products like honey, candles, and artisan gifts. With the post-covid focus on supporting local businesses, we began our journey of discovering and curating the best NZ artisan foods and gifts. Each NZ artist and producer is handpicked for our Moostique brand.

Our shop includes heaps of NZ-made food, gifts, merino products, French soaps, Italian and Mexican food and dinnerware—because when you can’t go to Italy, you bring Italy to Twizel, and to NZ!
